The Directorate of Advanced Studies & Research (DASR) serves as the central academic body responsible for the planning, coordination, regulation, and promotion of postgraduate and doctoral degree and research activities in the University. Established to strengthen the culture of inquiry, innovation, and scholarly excellence, the Directorate ensures that all graduate research programs are conducted in accordance with the University’s advance studies & research rules, approved regulations, and the policies of the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan.

The Directorate functions as the operational arm of the Graduate Research Management Committee (GRMC), facilitating academic decision-making, implementation of graduate rules, and monitoring of MPhil/MS and PhD programs. Through effective governance, quality assurance, and research facilitation, the Directorate contributes significantly to the University’s mission of producing impactful knowledge and skilled researchers capable of addressing national and global challenges.
